FAQ
What is pyrography?
Pyrography is the art of burning designs into natural wood using a heated pen. All of my pieces are handcrafted using a Razertip pyrography tool and other mediums—no lasers, no shortcuts.
Are your pieces truly one-of-a-kind?
Yes! Each piece is individually burned by hand, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. Even similar designs carry unique grain patterns, textures, and burn depth.
Do you take custom orders or commissions?
Yes! I currently accept commission work with a focus on woodland, hunting, and animal-based designs.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking info once your order is on its way. We currently ship within the U.S.
Do you offer international shipping?
Not at this time, but we’re working toward it! Follow us or subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we open international orders.
Can I hang your art outside?
We recommend indoor display only. While the wood is sealed, prolonged exposure to sun and moisture can cause fading, warping, or damage over time.
What type of wood do you use?
We primarily use basswood, maple, and birch due to their smooth grain and clean burning surface. The wood is hand-selected and sanded for optimal results.
Are your pieces sealed or finished?
Yes—all of our artwork is sealed with a clear polycrylic finish to protect the burn detail and preserve the natural wood. This helps prevent fading, moisture damage, and wear over time.
Can I request scripture, a name, or date on a piece?
Yes—personalization is available for commission pieces.
If a piece is already finished, a name, date, or verse can be added to the back upon request.
